Configuration Management Engineer

Description

Responsible for the source tree and build environment for SGI and Windows NT systems. This position is one you can expand as your skills and interests grow.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain multi-platform source and build trees
• Configure, install, and maintain configuration management tools (ClearCase)
• Control and facilitate software release
• Develop and maintain installation and build tools
• Facilitate source backup and archiving
• Provide daily builds to test group
• Help documentation group to prepare installation and release notes
• Administer electronic software distribution

Required Skills

• BSCS or equivalent experience
• Windows NT and UNIX
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong organizational skills
• Able to deal with stressful situations/load calmly

Preferred skills

• ClearCase
• Shell programming, perl, sed, awk, nroff
• C and C++
• Bug tracking tools
• Experience with both binary and source customers
• Internet FTP software distribution
• SGI IRIX experience
• System and network administration skills
